Contrary to the 1980s advertising campaign for these ice creams it really can be difficult to have a Gaytime on your own. As a closeted kid who was really not sure about what the hell was going on I would never be caught dead eating one of these ice creams, just in case someone figured out who I really was.

The Bubble O’Bill was always the safer choice.

Thankfully, with age and experience I’m now more comfortable with who I am. I’m able to wear the t-shirt and add some sparkle.
