WEATHER EVENT

Miserable weather and some unexpected isolation.

An improvised pattern based on a quarter circle or traditional drunkards path block

WEATHER EVENT - front

From time to time the rains come. And come, and come, and come.

After years of drought, and devastating bushfires that filled our sky with smoke for months, and the best part of a year living with a pandemic raging around the world - it started. The Weather Event.

Rivers up and down the coast soon started to burst their banks and our Big River, Biirinba (Clarence River) was slowly, slowly rising.

We were never in danger, and our friends and family were safe but our little town has only one way in and out, and that road was underwater for the best part of a week. Clouds, rain and encroaching water inspired this (very) rainy day project.
