A foundation paper pieced quilt inspired by the waterways and holidays that speak to where I live, beautiful Yamba NSW, Australia on the country of our First Nation Yaegl people.

Our home town, Yamba is surrounded by water. Ocean beaches and the mighty Biirinba (Clarence River) are ever present.
The rhythms of our year are dictated by an ideal sub-tropical climate with mild winters and long warm summers. Yamba is a holiday town that welcomes visitors for much of the year.
FLOAT evokes the feeling of cool clean water and the warmth of summer sun, and trigger memories of long swims, family holidays and hours spent dreaming.
